2016/2017 Dance Nature Sanctuary Tree Planting Events
Peterborough County Stewardship partnered with the Kawartha Land Trust to hold 2 tree planting events on the Dance Nature Sanctuary property to enhance tree cover and habitat. We planted a mix of native species including white pine, chokecherry and sugar maple. Thanks to all of the volunteers that came out to help put trees in the ground, we were able to plant over 500 native trees/shrubs on the Dance Nature Sanctuary property.
